The ideal candidate will be competent and fluent at prosecuting patent applications in ‘electronic’ areas such as

software, physics-based and computer inventions.

 

The ideal candidate will be experienced in prosecuting families of patent applications in international jurisdictions

including EP, US and preferably CN. Good knowledge of US patent law would be an advantage.

 

You will also be at an advantage if you have experience in any of: drafting patent applications for high technology

inventions, working with a multinational company as a direct client, or working with high technology start-up

companies. Excellent training will be provided for those who do not have such experience. You will be supported in

the management and development of your own direct clients.

You will be based in our head office in Derby’s professional quarter, which is a short walk from the centre of this friendly

city. The glorious Derbyshire countryside is just a short drive from the office’s on-site car park.
