Anand joined Swindell & Pearson Ltd in 2007 as a member of the Hi-tech Team.
Before joining the firm, Anand graduated with a degree in Physics from the University of Manchester. Thereafter, he trained in the defence industry as a Systems Engineer specialising in radar applications and seeker systems.
Anand is currently training to become a qualified UK and European Patent Attorney.
Outside of work Anand is a dedicated exponent of Indian Classical music having played, performed and taught the Sitar for over a decade. Anand is also a competitive player of sports and a keen martial arts enthusiast.
“I find it interesting how a lot of the ‘cutting-edge’ technologies around today have been subject to Patent applications filed over 50 years ago. An example of this is Patent GB667,298, relating to Fuel Cell technology, published in 1952.”
