Natasha is an associate in the firm’s trade mark team and is a chartered UK trade mark attorney, working in the Derby office.

Natasha specialises in pre-filing advice, brand protection, trade mark registration and the enforcement of trade mark rights in the UK, EU and worldwide.

Natasha conducts trade mark clearance searches, files trade mark applications, manages trade mark portfolios and enforces rights against third parties. Her vast knowledge and skill in handling portfolio takeovers, objections, oppositions, assignments, trade mark watching and worldwide trade mark renewals is an asset to her clients.

Natasha works closely with her clients, which vary from Individuals to large companies in the UK and overseas. She schedules regular meetings and phone calls with her clients to keep up to date with her client’s activities. Natasha strives to align herself with her client’s interests and business so that, should disputes arise, she has the knowledge of her client’s interests and business so that she can act quickly to resolve any conflicts and disputes with disgruntled third parties.

Natasha joined Swindell & Pearson in 2012 as an intellectual property administrator. During her time as an intellectual property administrator, Natasha obtained the CIPA and CITMA Patent and Trade Mark Administrators’ Certificates and handled a variety of trade mark, design and patent matters. Prior to joining Swindell & Pearson, Natasha obtained a law degree from Nottingham Trent University. Since starting at Swindell & Pearson, Natasha has worked her way up to become an associate after being promoted a number of times internally.

Natasha was elected as the president of the Derby and District Law Society’s Junior Lawyers division in 2018 and is actively involved in all aspects of the society.

In her spare time, Natasha enjoys baking, travelling and going to the gym.
