Swindell & Pearson has been recommended by its clients and peers, being named in the Financial Times’ list of ‘Europe’s Leading Patent Law Firms 2020’.

Swindell & Pearson is delighted to be featured in a Financial Times (FT) special report on ‘Europe’s Leading Patent Law Firms 2020’. This report was compiled by FT research partner Statista and based on recommendations made by clients and peers.

With 2,900 clients and peers participating and self-recommendations prohibited, 160 firms have been included in the report. Out of the 142 firms, 43 are based in the United Kingdom.

Paul Higgin, head of the patent team, commented ''We’re delighted to be recognised as one of Europe’s leading patent law firms by our clients and peers. The team works incredibly hard to form close relationships with our clients and ensure they receive the very best expert advice at all times. The patent team continues to expand its technical reach beyond its core of telecoms, software and electronics and now offers expertise in machine learning.''

The report is based on a survey that was sent out to 10,000 patent attorneys working in patent law firms or in the patent departments of companies, as well as clients, were directly invited to take part in the survey between 4th February 2020 and 16th March 2020.
